VIEW METHOD

Summary
This method uses the foam stability tester developed by the National Institute of Business Management (NIBM). Foam stability is measured by the amount of time it takes the foam in a standard glass to collapse a predetermined distance. The time of collapse is measured by four electrodes that contact the surface of the foam. The electrodes descend as the foam collapses and one or more of the electrodes loses contact with the foam.
